N. Damodar Reddy - Chairman

N. Damodar Reddy is serving as board member and Chairman of Infobrain Technologies since the summer of 2000. Mr.Reddy is also the founder and CEO of SutiSoft, Inc. which is his new startup at California, USA in March 2006. From February 1985 to December 2005, Mr. Reddy founded and served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: ALSC). In November 1993, Alliance completed its initial public offering (IPO). Within sixteen months, Alliance followed up with two more public offerings and two stock splits and, by the end of fiscal 1995, had earned the ranking of 8th fastest growing company in the U.S. by Forbes Magazine. In 1998, Alliance was one of the first successful semiconductor companies to start a hardware and software design center in India.

Mr. Reddy pioneered both Semiconductor Memory Fabless and Joint Venture semiconductor manufacturing (JVSM) models during his tenure at Alliance. These models were highlighted and endorsed by George Guilder in his book Microcosm, published in 1989. This JVSM Model was implemented working with United Microelectronics Corporation (NYSE:UMC) of Taiwan, Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd (NASDAQ:CHRT) of Singapore and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (NASDAQ:TSEM) of Israel. Today, these are the major global Foundry Semiconductor Manufacturing companies in the world. Collectively, ALSC invested well over $200 million dollars between 1996 and 2003 in these companies. The investments not only provided ALSC guaranteed wafer capacity, but also generated well over 5x appreciation of invested capital by 2001.

Mr. Reddy was a general partner of Alliance Venture management (AVM) LLC, which was founded in 1998. AVM, as an venture arm of Alliance Semiconductor Corporation, invested in early stage technology related companies in areas of telecommunications, semiconductors, EDA, and biotechnology. Mr. Reddy has served as a Director on the board of a number of these portfolio companies including Maverick Networks ( acquired by BRCM ), Malleable Technologies (acquired by PMCS), Orologic ( acquired by VTSS ), Platys communications (acquired by ADPT), and Magma Design Automation (LAVA), which went IPO on Nasdaq in November 2001. He was also an early stage investor in Sage Inc (NASDAQ:SAGE) which was acquired by Genesis Microchip (NASDAQ:GNSS). Presently, Mr. Reddy sits on the board of several private companies in the semiconductor, software security, consumer electronics, and biotechnology fields.

From September 1983 to February 1985, Mr. Reddy co-founded and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Modular Semiconductor Inc. He also served in various management positions at RCA Technology Center, Fairchild Semiconductor, Four Phase Systems, and at Synertek in Semiconductor Product and Technology Development areas.

In 1995, Mr. Reddy was selected as “Entrepreneur of the Year” in Northern California, an award sponsored by Inc. Magazine, Ernst and Young, and Merrill Lynch.

He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Osmania University, India, an MS degree in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Dr. R. Ramesh Reddy - Managing Director, India Operations

Dr. Ramesh Reddy studied H.S.C in 1967 from St. Paul’s High School; P.U.C from Nizam College in 1968; B.Tech (Civil)-JNTU (1974); M.Tech (Structural)-IIT- Delhi (1976) and was awarded Ph.D. IIT Delhi in the year 1992 in A.I.T Expert systems.

Dr. Reddy joined OSMANIA UNIVERSITY in 1979 as a Lecturer and became Reader in 1987 and Professor in 1994. He worked as the Head of the Civil Engineering Department from 1998-2000, Chairman of Civil Engineering, Board of studies 2001-2003 and Director of Industrial Development and Incubation Center at Osmania University from 1998-2005. He was Principal of the University College of Engineering at Osmania University from 2003 to 2005. Dr. Reddy has held various positions at Osmania University as Chairman of Branch Change Committee, Warden, Students Advisor and Students Welfare and Building Committee etc.

Dr. Reddy was the Principal Investigator of the R and D Project on Corrosion and Expert System funded by MHRD /AICTE and is the Governing body Member of more than 10 Engineering Colleges and approximately fifteen other MCA and Degree Colleges. He is a Member of the selection committees of Osmania university, JNTU, SVU, Kakatiya Universities; Member of the Board of studies of SKDU, JNTU, Kakatiya University and Osmania university and Advisor to more than 20 Colleges . He is an AICTE Expert Member in Monitoring Private Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, TamilNadu, Kerala and Pondicherry (Southern Region and South Western Region). He headed a number of Organizations and has been a Member of UGS funded Building Committee for various Colleges under Osmania University.

Dr. Reddy is the Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), Joint Hon. Secy. IEI, AP. State Center; Fellow of I.I. Bridge Engineers; Life Member ICI, ISTE, IGS, IRSE etc. National Committee Member INSDAG representing South India. He is the Chairman of CRYD, NGO working in rural areas. He founded PORTALS, NIRMAAN for Civil Engineers for imparting Professional training and is the Organizing Secretary of Intellectual’s Forum. He is the Founder Member Palamoor Foundation Trust.

Dr. Reddy has published more than 75 papers in International and National Journals and edited 3 books. He organized several National and International Conferences. He Guided 30 M.E. Reports, 45 R&D Reports and Guided Four Ph.D. Scholars and three are working.
